- Alexandra Artieva – Sami political activist, member of the Murmansk regional public chamber (2008-2010 гг.), chair of the working group for preparing of the IVth Sami Congress of the Murmansk region (2018)
- Oliver Loode – is an activist of the international Finno-Ugric movement and Member of United Nations Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues (UNPFII) for the term 2014-2016.
- Dr. Sulyandziga Rodion – is a one of the Russian civic activists and an indigenous peoples’ leader. He is a director of the Centre for Support of Indigenous Peoples of the North / Russian Indigenous Training Centre (RITC) which is a non-governmental organization that provides training and development in practical revenue-generating activities, in capacity building and institution strengthening, and in traditional knowledge and cultural heritage. Rodion was the first vice-president of the Association of the Russian Academy of Sciences (2010-2013). He has PhD in sociology.
